Everest Base Camp day 6, Lobuché (4940m) to Gorak Shep (5170m) via l'Everest Base Camp (5364m) et Kala Patthar (5545m)

Au pied du Khumbu glacier, le Camp de Base de l'Everest a surtout une valeur symbolique et logistique : c'est ici que se termine la marche pour les trekkeurs et ici que viennent s'acclimater à l'altitude pendant 3 semaines les alpinistes lancés à l'assaut du plus haut sommet du monde / At the bottom of the Khumbu glacier, the Everest Base Camp is a symbolic and a logististic place : it is where the trekkers have to go back and it is also where the climbers must acclimatize for 3 weeks before attempting to reach the highest summit of the world
