Aujourd'hui je me suis retrouvé dans les premières scènes de King Kong. Alors que notre bateau avance lentement entre les sommets acérés du Milford Sound, aucune brise ne vient balayer les quelques nuages couvrant les hauteurs du célèbre Mitre Peak. Une grisaille qui contribue étonnamment à l'ambiance mystique de ce coin de la Nouvelle-Zélande, où de hauts sommets enneigés se jettent brutalement dans l'Océan.

Today I thought I was in the King Kong movie. Slowly, our boat sailing between the high peaks of the Milford Sound, no wind were chasing the clouds from the top of the Mitre Peak. A perfect shade of grey for the mystical atmosphere of this part of New Zealand where mountains are just near the ocean.
